From tips one expects a very high quality:

  • they should be flexible,
  • they should be very resilient,
  • that they perfectly adapt to the nail.


There are even tips for the toenails.

The form of the tips can be from very convex to completely flat to ensure an ideal adjustment to the nail.

Despite the importance of the tips hey are nevertheless only the part of the artificial nail and the complete work depends on the quality of strengthening covering. This is applaid on after the tips are being glued on and polished.

The choice of the tips is very important: If a tip is too small, it will possibly press the nail plate together, and in the final result, after the acceptance, you can get a distorted nail. If it is difficult to find the ideal form for natural nails then a larger form of the tip is taken and with the help of the nail file the tip is being brought into the ideally fitting form.
The tip looks regarded by the internal side like two parts. A part works more thinly and is stuck onto the nail. Its notch is to fit the form of the natural nails ideally, then the nails will be more durable and appear like the natural continuation of the nail.

Which shape someone gives their nails is freely selectable, however, in principle should one consider the fact that the construction is durable and the naturally grown nail follows. Also the nails should not be excessively long.


Shears

 One should not shorten tips with normal shears – either it does not succeed or the tip blows up and cannot be used anymore.


In former times the designers have used usual shears and nail forcipes. Today there are so called tip cutters, shears particularly developed for the tips.


One can give with the tip cutter any form to the edge of the tip: round, oval and square.
Templates

After the preparation of the natural nail at the point of the nail the special template is used.

Then acryl is laid on and the suitable length is selected. After the material is hardened, the template is removed and now one gives their desired form to the nail.

Especially this technology enables a transparent stencil design (the glass nails) but mostly french design is purely white or colored with glitter..
